Canada’s favourite beverage is going to get a little more expensive. The federal government has announced that it is increasing taxes on beer. The increase amounts to approx. 5 cents on a 24 pack. While that doesn’t sound like alot, did you know that 47% of the price of beer is already TAX!
Beer Canada, the trade association that represents brewers across Canada wants you to be beer educated. Head to their website for more facts about the Canadian Beer Industry and to sign the petition.
