Canadian International Beer Awards (CIBA) 2018 Winners

The craft brew scene is exploding in Canada! Blindman Brewing took home 8 awards this year at the Canadian International Beer Awards in Calgary, Alberta. International participants, BJCP judging standards, 27 unique categories and many local winners, all proving that Canadian breweries are ready to compete – and win – on the world stage.

Canadian International Beer Awards (CIBA) 2018 Winners

Gold, Silver and Bronze are awarded at the Canadian International Beer Awards in 27 unique categories. The CIBA is an annual competition, with recognized international standards of beer judging.

Judging takes place over two days at the Calgary International Beerfest presented by Alberta Beer Festivals. Each group of judges consists of a certified head judge, experienced members of the beer industry as well as a member of the media. The criteria for each beer follows the BJCP (Beer Judging Certification Program) guidelines.
