What is Drunk Jenga?

Drunk Jenga is a drinking game that takes the classic game Jenga and adds a booze-y twist to it which makes the game a little more challenging. This is a great drinking game to play at parties and see who truly is a Jenga master.

Did you know that Drunk Jenga is also known as Tipsy Tower?!

The Tipsy Tower Drinking Game is just like Jenga, but the drinking rules come already on the blocks.

How to Play the Drunk Jenga Drinking Game

What You’ll Need to Play Drinking Jenga:

  • Jenga Blocks

  • A Sharpie

  • Beer (or your drink of choice)

Drunk Jenga Drinking Game Setup:

  1. Write rules on the Jenga blocks: Drunk Jenga is mostly like regular Jenga but with a twist! To start, take your Jenga pieces and write a different rule, dare, game etc. on each block.
  2. Set up Jenga blocks: After all your Jenga pieces have a different rule on them, JengaSetupset your blocks up just like regular Jenga. Put down 3 blocks side-by-side, then stack 3 more blocks on top of that row but the opposite way. Continue this pattern until you’ve used up all your Jenga blocks and have created a tall Jenga tower.

Drunk Jenga Gameplay:

Simply play Jenga as you always would. Take turns pulling out blocks, before putting the block back on top, the player must complete the task/rule that is written on the piece.

What happens if you knock the tower down during Drunk Jenga?

Be careful! If you tip over the Jenga tower, you must finish your drink! Then, set it up and play again!

Jenga Drinking Game Block Rule ideas:

The great thing about Jenga is that there endless rules / dares that you can choose to put on your Jenga blocks. It’s your game so write whatever you want!

If you’re struggling to come up with tasks to write on your blocks, here are some of our favourite rules to inspire you.

2 Truths & A Lie:

The person who pulls this block must announce two truths and one lie about themselves to the group. If the other players guess which statement you were lying about, you must drink. Otherwise, they drink.

4 Eyes:

All people with glasses on must drink.

Accent:

If you pull this block, you must play the whole round speaking in an accent of your choice. If you fail to keep up with the accent, take a drink. The round is over when it is your turn again.

Bartender:

You must refill everyone’s drinks immediately.

Karaoke:

Your pick: Sing a song for the group or chug a full drink.

King’s Cup:

Every player will pour a little of their drink into the same cup. You must drink it.

Leftie:

If you pull out the “Leftie” block, you must play your next turn with your non-dominant hand.

Made You Blink:

Have a staring contest with someone else of your choice. Loser drinks.

Old Man:

Oldest person drinks.

Shot:

The other players will make you a shot. They can choose to be nice and make you something tasty, or maybe they are searching for revenge and will make you the opposite. Beware: A recipient of a nasty shot never forgets.

Strip:

The person who pulled out this block must remove one item of clothing (of their choice) and keep it off for the entire game.

Tall Tale:

Tallest person drinks.

The Real Slim Shady:

You must play the rest of the game standing up.
