New year, new brews! There are so many reasons to be excited for the new year, but the best reason is plan and simple: new brewery openings. Beer lovers across the United States have a lot to look forward to with new breweries opening in many major cities and small towns!
To help prep you for what’s to come, we’ve compiled a list of US breweries opening in 2022!

Lake Pleasant Brewing Co. – Phoenix, AZ
This brewery has been years in the making, so we know it’s grand opening is gonna be good! Lake Pleasant Brewing Company is gearing up to launch in early 2022.

Tall Trellis Brew Co. – Olathe, KS
Tall Trellis Brew Co. is a new concept–a brewery, cafe, taproom and hopyard– all in one. Tall Trellis Brew Co. coming to Olathe, KS in 2022 will featuring locally roasted coffee and craft beer brewed with Kansas-grown hops!

Friction Beer Co. – Shawnee, KS
Friction Beer Company is coming to Shawnee, KS! This brewery announced the construction of their building in late December 2021, so keep an eye out for their grand opening in 2022!
Vine Street Brewing – Kansas City, MO
Vine Street Brewing will be opening its doors in Kansas City, Missouri this year! The brewery will be the Kansas City’s first Black-owned brewery. The brewery hasn’t announced it’s official opening date yet, but we do know that it’ll be located in Kansas City’s Jazz District at 2000 Vine Street.
River Bluff Brewing – Kansas City, MO
Kansas City is gained yet another brewery this year as River Bluff Brewing opened its doors of their second location. River Bluff gained quite a reputation for themselves upon winning a silver medal at the 2019 Great American Beer Fest– so you know the beers are going to be grrrreat! The brewery is located at 201 Main Street, Kansas City, MO.
Providence Brewing Co. – Providence, RI
Opening January 8, 2022 – Providence Brewing Co. recently announced the grand opening of their Providence Valley neighbourhood taphouse on January 8th, 2022. The brewery will be located in the Farm Fresh RI Food Hub building at 10 Sims Avenue. The grand opening will feature 16 delicious Rhode-Island local beers crafted by the brewery.
Hippin’ Hops Brewery – Charlotte, NC
Hippin’ Hops is bringing their Atlanta, GA brews to North Carolina! The East Atlanta Brewery owned by Donnica and Clarence Boston is Georgia’s first Black-Owned Brewery & Oyster Bar. Boasting their commitment to blend tradition, creativity and boldness– they’re bringing all of that flavour to NoDa (North Davidson Street) in Charlotte, NC!
There’s no word of their official opening date, but keep an eye on their social media channels for more information!
Midnight Mulligan – Charlotte, NC
Now open – Charlotte, NC gained a new brewery this year! Midnight Mulligan Brewing opened its doors at 2215 Thrift Road. The brewery features a taproom and kitchen with a complete list of delicious entrees and North Carolina-made beers!
