JustBeer and Brewers Guild of Alaska Partner Up
“We are excited to work with the BGA and their members. Our goal is help them bring exposure to the amazing craft beer they are producing, to expand their audience reach, and to guide their local communities and venturing tourists towards the outstanding craft beer they can find in Alaska”, said Nick Sonpal, JustBeer’s founder & CEO. JustBeer users will now be able to find and add Alaskan beers they try, personally rate them and the app will automatically generate recommendations of other beers and beer styles available in their area that they may like.
Nick goes on to say “JustBeer is all about an individual user’s personal preferences. Our rating system is for yourself, not for the general public to see. From a beer novice to connoisseur, JustBeer is a global digital platform and educational tool that assists users in expanding their beer experience and direct them to locally made beers, where ever that #DrinkLocal place may be. The app travels with you, so whether your local happens to be the city you live in, or you are touring abroad, discovering a new beer you will like in your area will always be at your fingertips. Small businesses are the cornerstone of any economy and drive the heart and soul of that community. We have invested a considerable amount of research and time to come up with a product that will not only highlight the amazing locally-grown craft beers and breweries in the United States, but that will also to get people visit those establishments and participate in their culture, therefore putting dollars back into the local economies.”
“The BGA is excited to partner with JustBeer. We know the first place most people go to get information is the internet and by working with JustBeer, the Alaska craft beer industry will have an expanded presence online to compliment the new BGA website. The visitor industry is an important part of the Alaskan economy and one in which our industry is intimately involved. JustBeer will be a great source of information about our wonderful beers for Alaskans and visitors alike”, stated Ryan Makinster, Executive Director of the Brewers Guild of Alaska.
JustBeer is an online social community for beer lovers. The mobile and web app is designed to help users discover new beers to try based off their personal preferences and tastes. The app’s main goal is to promote #DrinkLocal and guide you towards breweries and beers in your area, to help you get involved in beer events happening near you, and to engage you with articles and news all based around craft beer and its culture.
