Stanley Park Brewing Releases Canada Sevens Lager as Official Beer Partner of Sevens Rugby
Beer geeks and rugby fans, it’s official– your two worlds are about to collide! Stanley Park Brewing has been announced as the official beer partner for the HSBC Canada Sevens rugby tournaments.

Beer geeks and rugby fans, it’s official– your two worlds are about to collide! Stanley Park Brewing has been named the official beer partner for the 2020-2021 HSBC Canada Sevens rugby tournaments.
In honour of this new partnership, the Vancouver-based brewery (whose parent company is Labatt Breweries) is releasing the Canada Sevens Lager which will be the official beer of the Canada Sevens Rugby teams. This title was previously held by Postmark Brewing who also brewed a Canada Sevens Easy Lager.

4% ABV| 15 IBU
According to Canadian Beer News, it looks like the Canada Sevens Lager will be light and easy-drinking lager with a 4% abv and 15 IBU. The beer is described as “a crisp and flavourful light lager brewed with barley, oats and sea-salt to produce a light to medium-bodied beer.” The Canada Sevens Lager will also be a low-calorie beer with less than 100 calories per can. If you’re a huge rugby fan and beer geek, then you don’t want to miss out on this limited-edition lager. Stanley Park Brewing’s Canada Sevens Lager will be available during the Canada Sevens Men’s tournament which will be held at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, BC on March 7th and 8th, 2020.
The Canada Sevens Lager will also be available during the Canada Sevens women’s tournament which will take place on May 2nd and 3rd, 2020 at the Westhills Stadium in Langford, BC.
