Beers for Aries (March 21 – April 19)
So, you’re an Aries, eh? Aries is the first fire sign of the zodiacs. You’re a leader, spontaneous, daring and sociable. You can often be impulsive because as an Aries, you’re a fun and free-spirited. Aries seek excitement and have a love of the game. Although, Aries can tend to be a little vain and egoistical, but that’s obviously because you’re just so awesome, and you know it.
The Perfect Beer for an Aries
What makes this beer a match for Aries? Like your personality, this beer style is popular, bold and some would say even a little aggressive. Your impulsive and free spirit bonds well with the additional ABV % in this style of beer – a beer that packs a punch; we know you’re a fire sign, but keep the fists down please!
IPA’s are all about the hops. To balance it out, more malt is used inthe brewing of Double or Imperial IPAs (DIPA/IIPA) which results in a higher alcohol level. (Which usually is around 7% or higher). Double/Imperial IPAs typically range from a light, golden amber to a medium-copper with an orange tint in colour. The sharp, strong, flavour (and the fact that they’ll get you real drunk) is what makes this beer style so loved and popular, just like Aries.
