What Does Your Beer Say About Your Mood

Mood Rings; they were all the rage in the 70s and then made a comeback in the 90s which means they are probably due for a comeback sometime soon. While we wait let’s use our beer instead. What does the beer you’ve chosen say about you.

What Does Your Beer Say About Your Mood

Pilsner = Inspired

This is the beer that started it all way back in “Bohemia” aka: Czech Republic. Like the beer you’re a trendsetter, always looking for something new, hip and fresh.

Porter = Serious

You are serious and intense which is why you can handle the strong coffee, chocolate and caramel flavours that some beer drinkers can’t handle.

Belgian / White IPA = Passionate

Belgians are incredibly passionate about the beers they drink as are you. You won’t drink just anything. Only the best!

Lambic = Adventurous

Not every beer drinker would stray so far off the usual beer path to try a funky, fruity, sour beer, but you’ve got what it takes!

IPA = Happy

This beer brings back great summer memories. BBQs with friends, first summer romance and of course your first beer, which was most likely an IPA and that’s why you love it so much. I bet you walk down the street singing (or at least humming) “Because I’m happy!” (Happy by: Pharrell Williams)

Imperial Stout = Stressed

Too many things are happening in your life all at once. You are too stressed! The wonderful high alcohol content and the lovely chocolate / coffee notes will calm your nerves. We also suggest adding a nice rich cake along with this great beer after all stressed spelled backwards is desserts.

Golden Ale = Relaxed

Your easy-going relaxed nature makes you the perfect drinking buddy, just like this fantastically food friendly beer.

Strong Ale = Exhausted

You’ve had a really long day and need a little pick me up with a high alcohol content. Stay strong like your ale and you’ll get through even the toughest of days.

Amber Lager = Angry

You’re seeing red right now, but we’re sure that after a few sips of your favourite amber lager you’ll be back to your old self again.

Bock = Patient

Patience is a virtue not everyone has, but you know that good things come to those who wait and you’re willing to put in the time if you know the result will be great. Waiting out the winter brewing and fermentation process, you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic, bold beer in the springtime.
