Stout Hot Chocolate Float
Okay, you’ve all likely heard of the beer floats by now, but what about if we could turn that into a hot chocolate? This recipe by Floating Kitchen is the perfect drink to warm you up (and get you a little tipsy) on a chilly morning.
Here’s what you’ll need to make a Hot Chocolate Stout with Ice Cream:
- 12 oz of stout beer
- 2 cups of whole milk
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Beer-sar (Beer Caesar / Beer Bloody Mary)
If Bloody Marys/Caesars are your thing, then you’ll love the beer-y caesar recipe. This recipe follows the basic caesar, but adds a surprising twist: beer. Bottoms up!
Here’s what you’ll need to make a Beer Caesar:
- A Tall Glass
- 4 squirts of Lime juice
- 5 squirts of Lemon juice
- 10 squirts of Worcestershire sauce
- Caesar Rimmer
- 3 squirts of Tabasco
- 1/2 to 1 bottle of beer (this recipe uses Innis & Gunn Irish Whiskey Cask Beer)
- enough Clamato Juice to fill the rest of the glass
- celery stalk for garnish

Spiked Stout Affogato
This one is a little more of a dessert than a cocktail, but it was too good, we had to add it to this list. This Spiked Stout Affogato by MokaBees is the perfect beer/gelato mixture we could ever ask for. Like heaven in your mouth.
Here’s what you’ll need to make Beer Gelato:
- 2 scoops of chocolate gelato
- 1 oz hot espresso moka pot, or double-strength coffee
- 1 oz chocolate stout
- 0.5 oz amaretto liqueur
- dark chocolate to taste, shaved or grated
- whipped cream to taste
