You Can Now Attend Beer Events from Your Home – Virtual Beer Festivals
Are online beer festivals the new normal? Check out why you should be attending a virtual beer festival this summer.

It’s no secret that the pandemic has squashed many of our summer plans. With travel restrictions and physical (social) distancing regulations in place, many events, like beer festivals, will be talking a halt this year.
However, this doesn’t mean you need to give up on your beer plans this summer just yet! You can still enjoy the essence of a summer beer festival with a virtual beer festival. We know, it sounds outlandish, but hear us out:
Many festivals around the world have been replacing their physical festivals with virtual or online festivals. And events like award shows, concerts, parades, workout classes and more have followed suit.
What is a Virtual Festival?
A virtual festival (or online festival) is a web-hosted event that attendees can live-stream and chat to participate in real-time. One of the benefits of virtual festivals is anyone around the world can join.
So, how does a virtual beer festival work?
We’re sure you’re wondering how an online festival would work with beer. Well, firstly, you’ll need to register and get your ticket. Just like a regular festival, you’ll need a ticket to attend.
Once you purchase your ticket, the festival will ship you the beers to enjoy during the festival. This varies based on the festival, but its best to get your tickets early to make sure you receive your beers in time for the festival.
While drinking a beer in front of your computer screen may not be your idea of “fun” – it actually may be more fun than you think, check out this beer lover’s virtual beer festival experience on Food and Wine.
