We brewed this beer in 2015 and then cellared it for a year so you wouldn’t have to. Nugget, Columbus, and Chinook hops, together with Alberta 2 Row and Crystal malts contribute to make this best enjoyed on a dark cold night with a friend or two. Barley Wines tend to be in the 8-12+% ABV range, so the term ‘Barley Wine’ was originally coined to indicate that this is a beer with an alcoholic strength similar to that of wine. However, being made from grain and not fruit it is undoubtedly a beer.
