Altbier is a German style brown ale. The word "alt" means "old" in German. Gravity BrewWorks' version of this ale is on the fruity side, pretty smooth and accessible. While the traditional color ranges from amber to dark brown, theirs is more reddish in color, medium in carbonation and more malty.
