Apis IV Honey Quadrupel by Elevation Beer Co. in Colorado, United States

About Apis IV Honey Quadrupel by Elevation Beer Co.

The honeybee (Apis mellifera) is an amazing creature. It is the only bee in 10,000 species that produces honey. It is a social insect, living in colonies of up to 80,000 bees, roughly 25 times the size of the Poncha Springs community. To honor these amazing creatures, Elevation Beer Co. brews Apis IV with local alfalfa honey from Beekeepers's Boutique, a four-generation apiary that's been in Colorado for over 100 years.

Apis IV is brewed in the Trappist tradition of Belgian Dark Strong Ales and pours dark brown with hues of red. A thick, creamy off-white head and notes of figs, plums, and of course, honey!

Cheers!

Our tasting room features up to 16 beers on tap, one of which is a regularly rotating cask beer on a hand engine. Draft and to-go beer available.
