Saskatoon berries picked here in Alberta! Mid-Dry cider. Named after: The Avro Canada CF-100 Canuck (known as the "Clunk") was a Canadian twinjet interceptor/fighter designed and produced by aircraft Avro Canada. It has the distinction of being the only Canadian-designed fighter to enter mass production. 1946 RCAF was calling for a new new jet-powered interceptor/fighter aircraft suitable for long-distance patrol missions and all-weather operations. The CF-100 principally served with the RCAF and CAF; it was also procured in small numbers by Belgium to equip the Belgian Air Component. During 1981, all of the remaining RCAF CF-100s were withdrawn from service, having been succeeded by McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet.
