About Barrel Aged Baltic Porter by Hell's Basement Brewery
Originating in countries that border the Baltic Sea, Baltic Porters were developed after high gravity brown ales and imperial stouts began exporting from England. This beer utilizes Dark Munich as a base malt and various specialty malts such as Chocolate Wheat, Carafa, Dark Caramel, and Malted Oats. Chocolate, date, caramel, black licorice, molasses, and oaky bourbon are a few of the flavours you may pick out of this well-aged brew. Matured in bourbon and whiskey barrels for 154 days, this Baltic Porter knows good things take time.
