Initially brewed in 2003, Barrel of Monkeys was the first high gravity recipe to be barrel-aged by Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company. Since then we have expanded upon and continually refine our proprietary cellaring techniques for these limited edition runs.
A fan favorite, devotees await the tapping of the barrels with eager anticipation to discover what olfactory and gustatory delights each new vintage unveils. We also recommend cellaring a few bottles to enjoy at a future date.
Aged for 6 months in Bourbon Barrels – Drinks with a velvety bourbon burn and has hints of Madagascar Vanilla, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon Spice and a very slight Toffee or Toasted Pecan accent to balance out all of the flavors.
