About Barrel-Aged Port of Tart by 13 Virtues Brewing Company

Consider this our Game of Thrones beer. Back in those days, pretty much all beer was at least a little sour, and usually dark. Behold! This imperial porter was aged in oak barrels for several months and dosed with some wild yeast. It's rich, smooth, and just a little sour. Otherwise, it's worth losing your head over.

Thirteen Virtues Brewing is a three-barrel brewery borne in the shadows of a long-tenured Portland restaurant, Philadelphia’s Steaks & Hoagies. The brewery was added back in 1993 – as Oregon’s 14th licensed brewery! – but operated quietly for many years as one of Oregon’s smallest brewhouses.
