Pours a pitch black color with a huge creamy beige foam head that has good head retention. Aromas of rich dark malt with hints of Chocolate, Roast and Caramel with a underlying tone of dark fruit(Fruity). Taste of Chocolate with Caramel and Roast malt and the Dark fruit is Plum, Raisin and Pear. Mouthfeel presents a light medium bodied beer with a smooth cream texture and a effervescent carbonation with a light alcohol flavour. Halertaur and Saaz hops are in the background at 25 IBUs adding subtle spicy and fruity flavours. This 6.7% Belgian Stout malt flavors are enhanced by complex flavours imparted from the Trappist Abbey yeast with a dry finish.
