This year’s Big Boots Brew is their homage to a traditional heather ale, light in body and fragrant with the delicate aroma and flavour of Scottish heather. Heather was used in beer long before hops were discovered and provide a slightly herbal bitterness to this fine ale. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this beer are used to establish the Pink Boots Bursary. This bursary helps women enrolled in the Olds College Brewmaster & Brewery Operations Management Course.
