Black IPA

Nova Scotia, Canada
6.2% ABV • IBU 52

Holy hybrid, this legendary hop-forward style goes dark and deep with the addition of a big, roasted malt base. Dry-hopped and unfiltered, don’t over think this beast, just enjoy.

Pours black with a creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee and chocolate malts mingled with fresh hops. Bitter sweet chocolate hits the palate first followed by light caramel and citrusy flavours. After a pause, more roast maltiness and a lasting tangy bitter finish. Chewy, complex flavour progression & nice combination of flavours - like being hit with a velvet glove!

Goes great with grilled steak, beed stew or bold, tangy dishes. Perfect with Mandarin orange or ginger beef over rice.
