Jordan. Zeppelin. Jon Snow. Like the greats, Black Thunder is back. This is one of Austin Beerworks' favorite beers of all time – and their most award winning. In hindsight, maybe brewing a black beer with a bold name was a bit much for the average beer drinker. But you knew. You weren’t intimidated. You understood this is a Schwarzbeir (also an intimidating name) - a classic German black lager. Like Pearl Snap. In fact it basically is Pearl Snap with dark malts added. But you knew that. Well now it’s only available for a limited time and you know not to miss its heralded comeback.
