An obscure malt-forward beer style from Düsseldorf, Altbier (alt means "old") shares lineage with its cousin the Kölsch in that it is fermented warm with ale yeast before being conditioned cold like a lager. Tailgunner's Altbier uses 100% Bavarian ingredients, is unfined/unfiltered, naturally carbonated, and lagered for eight weeks.
