About Cashmere Wet Hopped by Whistler Brewing Company

The Cashmere Wet Hopped India Session Ale. Harvested in the fertile Fraser Valley, Cashmere hops are a new variety and daughter of the popular Cascade strain, yielding flavors of lime, melon and pineapple; with a mild herbal aroma. For this particular recipe, Whistler's Brewmaster introduced freshly picked Cashmere hops right into the boil, to create a well-balanced session ale, with hints of fresh green grass, a distinct hop aroma and a smooth bitter finish. Enjoy this Cashmere Unique Brew! An exciting new recipe, featuring the Cashmere hop variety: destined to become a BC craft brew staple. Hints of citrus, pineapple and melon imparted by the Cashmere hops blend with slight hints of pepper. Notes of fresh green grass from the wet hopping process balance out the malts creating a clean, dry and pleasant finish.
