About Celis White by Brouwerij Van Steenberge

Celis white is originally a Belgian beer. Pierre Celis brewed it for years as the “White from Hoegaarden”. He founded a new brewery in Austin, Texas (USA) later on and put in 1992 the Belgian whitebeer, brewed according to the age-old recipe, on the American market under the name Celis White. Brewery Van Steenberge gained the exclusive right to brew and distribute in our region. Celis White is a white wheat top-fermented beer with a touch of fruit and herbs. If served cold, it gets a blurred white appearance and a suprising light taste. This delicious white beer got all the time it needs to develop.

The Van Steenberge brewery stands for independence, progress and growth. It emphasises the traditional art of brewing adapted to the current technological developments and guarantees a reliable quality and service. Respect for our employees and care for the environment are central to our policy.
