The Centennial Blonde is a slightly hazy ale that is golden in colour. The beer is crested with half a finger of head that settles quickly and cleanly. Compared to most blonde ales this one smells strongly of honey sweetness. A toasted malt is paired with the creamy sweet aroma but in this blonde ale the honey takes charge. Moving on to taste, when the Centennial first hits the tongue it is malty and refreshing. This builds into a toasted malt, honey sweetness that takes over the midsection. As the taste progresses to the finish the palate is left with a warm, honey sweetness that lingers long after the last drop. For a blonde this may come across a little on the sweet side but it is none-the-less quite refreshing and delicious.
