If you think this beer's label looks like a lot like 2016 presidential candidate ... you’re right. This beer started out as Trump Golden Ale, served at Trump Towers as a house beer. That was, until Donald Trump made comments in his recent speeches characterizing some illegal hispanic immigrants as criminals and lawbreakers. That sentiment didn’t resonate well with Andres Araya, owner of 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, a Latin-American themed brewery. Those comments prompted them to sever their ties with Trump Tower completely.

A brewery has no business meddling in politics, right? Probably so, but this hit very close to home for 5 Rabbit Cerveceria. They decided to take a stance against racism, misogyny, bigotry and ignorance. 5 Rabbit wants to stand up to those who promost hate and fear. Fear is not the American way of life so together they want to tackle extremism and any ideology that divides people instread of uniting them.

The golden ale will now be bottled with a new name – 5 Rabbit Chinga tu Pelo. In case you aren’t up on your foreign languages, that translates to “Fuck your Hair.”
