Proving that beer need not be dark to feature delicious roasty, chocolate character, this golden-coloured ale is layered with complexity. This small-batch started with Prairie Dog's popular Smoked Peppa Pale Ale base, which was then infused with Ecuadorian Arriba Nacional cacao beans to add rich dark chocolate flavours and aromas. The slightly warming, peppery base beer has subtle smokey notes that blissfully interplay with the cacao flavours.
