Coyloup by Microbrasserie À la Fût in Québec, Canada

About Coyloup by Microbrasserie À la Fût

A Coyloup! A what? A Coywolf! Yep, you guessed it; a hybrid resulting from the crossing of a coyote and a wolf, just like our beer which is a hybrid between the Bretts and the IPA. Not widespread, but still, it exists. With a 7-month ageing process in oak barrels with Brettanomyces Claussenii yeast, our Coyloup (French for Coywolf) reveals a pleasant fruity, tropical and slightly wild taste that blends perfectly with the raw hops (dry hop) of Galaxy added at the very end of the maturation cycle. A beer truly out of the ordinary, like this extraordinary animal!

Expert in sour and oak barrel-aged beers, Microbrasserie À la Fût is located in Saint-Tite and with its 516 barrels, it is one of Québec's largest craft breweries.
