O Crossroads finalmente chegou à maioridade! Considerado o melhor bar de rock e de música ao vivo de Curitiba, completou 18 anos e, para comemorar esse fato a famosa liberdade da maioridade, decidiu ter a sua própria cerveja. A DUM foi escolhida para desenvolver a receita com a consultoria do blog BarDoCelso.com .

Nos reunimos para provar várias cervejas e assim chegar a um consenso do perfil desejado. Com a definição da receita, o primeiro passo foi fazer um teste na panela doParque Temático. Assim que a cerveja ficou pronta, fizemos dois testes de dry-hopping e levamos para o staff do Cross beber. O sucesso foi imediato e foi decidido que produziríamos a versão com mais lúpulo.

Uma versão suavizada de uma American IPA, com menos amargor, menos corpo e menor teor alcoólico, mas conservando todo o aroma dos lúpulos frutados e cítricos americanos. Além disso, ela contém centeio, o que lhe confere certa picância e textura sem igual. Tudo isso resultou numa cerveja extremamente aromática, que lembra frutas cítricas e maracujá, com toques leves de malte e centeio, o que dá a leveza e refrescância. É uma cerveja com muito drinkability, a Rock’n Roll foi pensada para ser bebida a noite toda. Com produção e know-how da Bastards Brewery, a Rock’n Roll Session Rye Pale Ale é vendida exclusivamente no Crossroads. Foi uma parceria que deu certo e nos sentimos honrados de fazer parte da história do Cross.

Crossroads has finally come of age! Considered the best rock bar with live music from Curitiba, it turned 18 and to celebrate this fact the famous landmark, decided to have their own beer. DUM was chosen to develop the recipe by consulting with the BarDoCelso.com blog.
We gathered to taste several beers and so reach a consensus of the desired profile. With the idea in mind, the first step was to take a test in the pan Theme Park. Once the beer was ready, we did two dry-hopping tests and took it to the staff of the Crossroads. Success was immediate and it was decided that produced versions would be with more hops.
A downsized version of an American IPA, with less bitterness, less body and lower alcohol content, while retaining all the aroma of fruity hops and American citrus. In addition, it contains rye, which gives it a certain spiciness and unique texture. All this resulted in an extremely aromatic beer, reminiscent of citrus and passion fruit, with light touches of malt and rye, which gives lightness and freshness. It is a beer with great drinkability, the Rock'n Roll was thought to be drunk all night. With production and know-how of Bastards Brewery, the Rock'n Roll Session Rye Pale Ale is sold exclusively at the Crossroads. It was a partnership that worked and we are honored to be part of the history of the Crossroads.
