Made by Cambridge Brewing Company
Est. in 1989, Cambridge Brewing Co. is the oldest brewpub in the greater Boston area serving fresh handcrafted beer and food made with local ingredients.
It has been cold-fermented and then lagered for over eight weeks. As black as the unknowable depths of eternity itself, Death and the Maiden is extremely full bodied. Incredibly smooth, its aged alcohol warmth contributes to the complexity of sweet malty and chocolatey flavors while the more roasted and acrid notes of an imperial stout are softened to a minimum. Dark fruits, caramel, toffee and currant flavors add to this complexity.
