Affogato inspired pastry stout. This beer was brewed in collaboration with Mountains Walking's neighbors at Partner Coffee co.
Pouring pitch black with a tan foam reminiscent of a freshly poured espresso. Expect rich notes of hazelnut, vanilla and layers of chocolate. A generous amount of speciality cold brew extract was added post fermentation balancing out the upfront sweetness of this style. The coffee used in the brew is a blend of South and Central American varieties and has notes of cola, citrus, and a distinct nuttiness. This is a great beer for the hype beer fans, someone looking for a balanced imperial stout, also anyone who appreciates a good cup of Joe.
About their collaborator: Partner Coffee was founded in the back of a 1985 Ford Bronco by the Wallace Brothers in Bozeman, Montana. Now, all of their coffee is brewed in a small western inspired cafe in Bozeman’s North East neighborhood.
