The idea behind Double Barrel Big Bad Baptist was born when Epic Brewing's friends at HotBox Roasters, based out of Longmont, CO told them they’ve been aging green coffee beans in retired spirits barrels. Epic Brewing's eyes widened at the possibilities, it was like a new frontier of flavor had been opened up.
