Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to Prohibition, the Kentucky Common style was at its peak in popularity. 1920 and the Volstead Act changed everything. The Kentucky Common did not survive the riggers of prohibition and the creation of macro breweries. Common Crown Brewing is reviving this style in the tradition of 1919 that brings an amber colour, light creamy body, and biscuit malt notes that compliment the smooth sweet corn character. A century has almost gone by, but this style will once again be enjoyed on bar stools, surrounded by friends, with the sun shining on our faces. Collaboratin with Trolley 5 Brewery.
