It's decadent. It's a pudding in a can. Laine Brew Co. brewed this in collaboration with
Mondo Brewery in London - they are fantastic people who create insane beers so check them out!! And this is a glorious cake of a beer, boozy but not too boozy, with sea salt, chocolate and plenty of roasted caramel notes from the complex malt bill.
The name came from a bit of a search around 'salted caramel' and what they found out is that it pushes your 'eat more' button - like they needed to be told that, but anyway! It then developed into Buttons, which seemed to fit the cacao nibs addition. A quirky approach but they all liked how it sounded. Why Not.
Okay so Maris Otter Pale Malt provides the base, they've added in loads of malts (ref below), Oats and Roasted Barley for added body, colour and flavour, along with Sea Salt, Rice Hulls, Lactose and Dextrose. Duggles hops for bettering. Fermented with Mondo's house West Coast Ale yeast strains and conditioned on cacao nibs...
Honestly, they've made a bit of monster here guys. It's insane!
