Made by Steamworks Brewing Company
Named after the famous steam that runs through its historic brewpub in Gastown and Brewery in Burnaby, Steamworks offers distinctive, full-flavoured and award-winning brews.
Brewed with German Pilsner and wheat malts and fermented with French Saison yeast, this beer pours hazy and is as refreshing as it is complex. The fruity and spicy flavour and aroma that is characteristic of this yeast strain is complemented by layered additions of Ella hops throughout the brewing process.

"This is a saison farmhouse style beer. Saisons (meaning seasons in French) were served to farmhands who in Belgium were allotted up to 5 litres each working day. Each beer would be distinctive to the farmer who brewed it. Steamworks aroma & taste is doughy with wheat and a hint of spice and pepper. A cloudy beer with a white thumb head when poured. Cheers to Canadian Farmers & farmhands. Without them none of this godliness would exist."
