Grätzer (or grodziskie) is a nearly-forgotten Polish style of oak-smoked wheat beer. While no Polish breweries continue to produce this indigenous style, many craft breweries have attempted to revive it. Our grätzer uses a simple recipe of 100% wheat malt and generous amounts of Saaz hops to create a crisp and spicy flavour. This is summertime sausage-eatin' beer.
Aroma of lightly smoked or cured meats. Dry, light mouthfeel. Peppery and crips hops bitterness with a clean finish.
Pairs well with smoked sausage, charcuterie plates, strong cheeses, mustard-heavy dishes.
