At New Level Brewing, we believe that the art of craft beer should be seen as a collaborative enterprise not only between industry insiders, but also between brewers and craft beer drinkers.
New Level's first hazy beer was meant to be a small batch one-off, but it was popular enough that they brought it back as a full time beer. Very little hops are used during boil, but massive amounts of hops are added at the whirlpool to provide a beautiful aroma with restrained bitterness. They dry-hop during primary fermenation, which causes the hop oils to interact with the yeast in the beer, creating unique flavours and haziness. Dry hopped once again once the beer is cold for even more aroma. Underneath that aggessive dry hops is full bodied beer with a slightly biscuity malt profile.
