Humpyard Steam Ale by Flying Boats Brewing in New Brunswick, Canada

About Humpyard Steam Ale by Flying Boats Brewing

California Common Ale beer style (aka Steam Ale) – Brewed by the early German settlers in California, this beer is fermented using a Lager yeast but fermented at the low end of ale fermentation techniques. A nice malty caramel flavor balanced with the Northern Brewer hop for moderately hopped beer, with a crisp lager finish.

The story behind the name: Paying tribute to the Moncton areas railroad heritage with the Humpyard being the connecting hub, where trains were shunted and assembled to all destinations in Eastern Canada.
