About Kellerbier by Waxholms Bryggeri

Waxholm Kellerbier is a golden, unfiltered and unpasteurized lager beer, brewed according to the German purity law Reinheitsgebot. The beer style, and the name, Kellerbier originally comes from Franconia in southern Germany where the beer was traditionally served in large ceramic mugs unfiltered directly from the beer cellar, der Bierkeller. Unfiltered beer is slightly hazy and has a fuller taste and is suitable both for food and as a companion drink.

Waxholms Bryggeri is a microbrewery located in the regiment's old cinema at Rindöhamn-Vaxholm, in the heart of Stockholm's archipelago. With love for the art of brewing and craftsmanship, we want to re-inscribe Vaxholm on Sweden's beer map.
