La Bavaroise by Brasserie Vrooden in Québec, Canada

About La Bavaroise by Brasserie Vrooden

Weizen originated in the early 16th century, in Bavaria. An exclusive privilege of the aristocracy for more than 250 years, the right to brew this beer was granted to the people only in 1856. In Germany, it must contain a minimum of 50% wheat to be called weizen. Still as popular hundreds of years later, it still accounts for 30% of beer sales in Bavaria.

Slightly cloudy, effervescent beer, brewed from 67% wheat. Nice balance of tastes and aromas of fruits and spices (cloves).

We brew genuine German beers, by the methods and ingredients used, without compromising on taste and quality!
