A refreshing Belgian Wit brewed with fresh strawberries and sweetened with lactose. Delicately sweet and slightly tart.
The Beer Maven
"The aroma is lightly tart with a soft smell of strawberries. The effervescent bubbles tickled my nose when I brought it to my lips. Cloudy, with a delicate rosé colour and slight sediment that sinks to the bottom of your glass. A clean and light foamy head. The last strawberry is gently sweetened with lactose perfecting the balance of tartness and fresh strawberry taste. The label is so beautiful I had to photograph it more than once. This was my first beer from Fuggles & Warlock and I am eager to try more."
"This beer did NOT disappoint coming out of the keg! I thought I liked it in the bottle, out of the tap is something else, you do get the smell of the lactose and the strawberries, with the wheat taking a back note. The taste is just like the smell. This beer is not for the faint of heart, if you don’t like a fruit wheat beer, dont have this one.. it is also unfiltered which really give it the extra boost as well! 4.5 out of five out of the tap!"
