About Leviathan by New Level Brewing
New Level wanted to make a big stout as part of their core line-up. Notes of baker's chocolate, toffee, and a little bit of roast and caramel. Neither is too sweet nor too boozy, this big boy is surprisingly smooth. English yeast lends a delicate ester profile that helps mask the high alcohol. Guidelines be damned: they are proud to call it a "Session-Imperial Stout."
