An Irish Thoroughbred. The New World Guide to Beer listed this as one of the best Irish style ales on the planet. We’re happy to agree. And we’ll also tell you that while watching the mist roll across an Irish lake is an excellent way to enjoy McNally’s Extra, it’s also perfectly at home, right here in Canada. This beer has strong malt and hop characters with flavours of burnt toffee, caramel, and a touch of dark fruity plum notes. McNally’s Extra tastes great with traditional Irish dishes like beef stew and of course, shepherd’s pie. Full-bodied and buttery smooth, try it with a blackened Cajun salmon fillet or a charcuterie platter.
