Monkey Fist is Shipyard's contribution to the west coast style IPA category. This beer is aggressively hopped to tantalize the nose and bring a subtle bitterness to the finish. As a tribute to Shipyard's seafaring heritage, Monkey Fist is named after the knot tied at the end of a sailor’s rope that serves as a weight and makes the rope easier to throw.
