Made by Fair State Brewing Cooperative
The cooperative's membership is currently over 2000 and growing every day.
Call them crazy, but every once in a while Fair State thinks it’s fun to make a barrel-aged stout and not put anything insane in it. They enjoy the interplay of malt and spirit and oak, but it’s kinda tough to find sometimes these days. Going out on a limb like this requires help, and so they recruited some friends from Pulpit Rock (IA) to pick the best barrel candidates. They just told them they had to leave the candy canes at home.
