About Münchner Kellerbier Anno 1417 by Hacker-Pschorr

A silky matt brilliance and a velvety, full-bodied taste

Münchner Kellerbier Anno 1417 exudes seductive hues of golden honey as it shimmers in the light. This is a beer of inimitable character – authentic and gutsy, yet eminently quaffable and refreshingly mild and light. In other words, a true Bavarian.

Münchner Kellerbier Anno 1417 has the creamy and sparkling texture so typical for unfiltered beers and bubbles delightfully on the palate. Hints of caramel, honey and plum are all discernible, emphasising the malty and tangy taste sensation. They are joined by inimitable nuances of apple and grapefruit, which combine to give the beer its fruity freshness.

Our Münchner Kellerbier is brewed in precisely the same traditional manner as all those years ago. Following a maturing process of four weeks, it is bottled without being filtered to ensure that all the vitamins and trace elements contained within the yeast are retained.

Hacker-Pschorr has been brewing beer in the traditional Bavarian manner since 1417. The high-quality beers the brewery produces are all brewed in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law and contain only water, malt, hops and yeast.
