About Oliver's Island by Fuller's Brewery

The taste of teamwork - A quenching, zesty ale brewed with orange peel, Oliver’s Island sees hops and malt work together in glorious harmony.

A refreshing, crisp, thirst quenching, golden ale brewed with malt and hops in perfect balance to deliver an easy drinking ale with citrus and tropical fruit notes and a crisp satisfying bite. With the addition of orange peel in the brew the beer has an enhanced refreshing flavour.
Inspired by an island that sits just 2 miles from the brewery. In the 18th Century boats seeking passage through the Thames would be forced to stop there to pay gold in order to continue up river. The island also played a role in the Civil War, where Oliver Cromwell was reported to have taken refuge via a mysterious under-ground tunnel that is still yet to be found.

The Fuller's Brewery in Chiswick, London dates back to 1828, but Fuller's has been brewing for more than 160 years. As you might expect, it’s a place with plenty of tales to tell.
