Muddy York Brewing is excited to bring back a very special beer, The “Olli” Unfiltered Heirloom Lager. Using an heirloom 6-row barley that was once the dominant malting barley pre 1950, it has a unique cereal grain quality and richness that is noticeably different than the common 2 row barley malt.
What is an heirloom plant? It’s an old cultivar of plant maintained by farmers or gardeners, not used in modern day large-scale agriculture.
