Nickelpoint Pecan Nut Brown Ale is a traditional English Brown Ale with a slight twist. Roasted pecans are added to the mash to bring about nutty tones to the sweet and roasty malt profile of this seasonal. Moderate amounts of East Kent Golding hops were used to balance the rich malty character. With a light, sweet malty aroma and a medium-light to medium body mouthfeel, the Pecan Nut Brown Ale is an English Brown Ale suited for cooler fall weather. While many varieties of Brown Ales can be found, Nickelpoint Pecan Nut Brown Ale mostly resembles the modern 20th century renditions of this historic style. Look for this again in Fall of 2020.
