Rifleman’s Ration by Black Creek Historic Brewery in Ontario, Canada

About Rifleman’s Ration by Black Creek Historic Brewery

During the War of 1812, British soldiers were given a daily ration of beer. To celebrate this tradition, Black Creek has named this brown ale Rifleman's Ration. Complex on the nose, with aromas of chocolate, and espresso. Medium-bodied, with moderate sweetness - a rich malt backbone provides chocolate and savoury flavours.

The Black Creek Historic Brewery is on the lower level of Half Way House in the heart of Black Creek Pioneer Village.
